Word (DOCX) output

Word output is a first-class format across every export context, generated from the same templates as your PDFs. Use it when recipients need to edit the document.

Generating DOCX​

Choose Word as the format in the export dialog. The same template that produces your PDF produces the DOCX.

What maps to Word styles​

Headings, tables, lists and text map to native Word constructs so the result is genuinely editable, not an image of a document.

Two ways to produce Word​

  • From your Exportelier template — the layout you designed, exported as .docx (this page).
  • Word Template Mode — fill your own branded .docx with Jira data — see Word Template Mode.
Formatting limits

Some pixel-level PDF effects do not have an exact Word equivalent. When in doubt, preview both formats from the designer before standardizing on a template.
