Output formats

A single Exportelier template produces three formats. You design once and export to whichever your audience needs.

PDF​

Pixel-perfect PDF, rendered entirely on Forge with no headless browser and no third-party servers. Add watermarks, custom fonts and digital signatures so Acrobat detects any tampering — use the bundled certificate or upload your own.

Word (DOCX)​

Editable Word output is a first-class format across every export context, generated from the same templates as your PDFs. Two ways to produce it:

  • From your Exportelier template — the same layout you designed, exported as .docx.
  • Word Template Mode — upload your own branded .docx and have Exportelier fill it with Jira data, preserving your headers, footers and styles.

Markdown​

AI-ready Markdown output, ideal for feeding documents into LLM workflows, wikis or static sites.

What's coming​

Excel (XLSX) is planned for V1.3 and is not available in V1.2. AI-assisted summaries remain a later idea with no committed release or edition. See the roadmap.

Temporary export storage

Not permanently. Synchronous exports return directly to your browser. Background exports use temporary Forge storage, are deleted after download and expire after one hour. The audit log contains event metadata, never document content.
