Getting started
Exportelier installs from the Atlassian Marketplace in under a minute. No credit card is required to start on the Free plan.
1. Install from the Marketplace
- Open your Jira Cloud site as a site administrator.
- Go to Apps → Explore more apps and search for Exportelier.
- Choose Get app and confirm the installation.
Because Exportelier is a Forge app, it installs into your own Atlassian tenant — there is no separate vendor account to create and no data leaves Atlassian.
2. Run your first export
- Open any Jira issue.
- In the issue view, open the Exportelier action.
- Pick a format — PDF, Word or Markdown — and a template.
- The document is generated on Forge and streamed to your browser for download.
That's it. Free includes all six export contexts, all three formats and the complete visual designer, with 15 successful exports per UTC calendar month and Jira site.
3. Explore the full toolkit
Free also includes three custom templates, one uploaded custom-font family and audit-log viewing/export for the latest 30 days. Older entries are not deleted by that Free window and may reappear after an upgrade if normal retention has not purged them. See Output formats for what each format supports, or jump to the template designer to build your own layouts. Standard removes the Free usage limits and unlocks Exportelier Automation.
Every export runs as you — you only ever see issues you are allowed to browse. Template management is admin-only. See Security & compliance.
Next steps
- Export contexts — export an issue, a JQL search, a board, a sprint, a release or the backlog.
- Template designer — design templates like a deck, not a build script.
- FAQ — the questions your admin will ask.
