Glossary

Context — The kind of Jira data an export starts from: single issue, bulk/JQL, board, sprint, release or backlog. See Export contexts.

Template — A reusable design that defines how a document looks. See Template designer.

Export — A single run of a template against real Jira data, producing a PDF, Word or Markdown file.

Snapshot — An automatically saved, restorable version of a template. See Version snapshots.

Egress — Outbound network traffic. The main app has none; the Automation app isolates all egress.

Forge — Atlassian's app platform, where Exportelier runs and renders documents. See Security architecture.

Word Template Mode — Filling your own branded .docx with Jira data. See Word Template Mode.

Field-renderer registry — The mapping that decides how each field type is rendered, with a safe fallback. See Custom fields.
